50’s Portrait Session

April 21, 2017

Flashback Friday to this nationally featured teen session. It was a gorgeous day in February for this 50’s portrait session! This was the first styled session my 2018 model team participated in and it was a full day of fun!! We started with hair and make-up and then headed to Fort Monroe. There we met up with Scott Harrison and his gorgeous white car. It was breathtaking.  We toured Fort Monroe for a few more pictures before heading to a retro laundromat. Then we had some lunch before wrapping things up at Scorpios Deli in Poquoson, an adorable retro diner. At the diner we met up with Brian Bowyer and had the opportunity to take some images with his cool truck! Such a treat for the models. These are just a few of the shots we captured.

This session was featured on the national blog Modern Teen Style on March 14, 2017. It was such an honor for me and my team!

There are so many people to thank for making this day amazing! First thanks to my awesome model team and their parents who give everything they have to every session + more! Shelby White of Shelby White Events organized this session and worked so hard to make sure everything flowed smoothly. We all love you Shelby! Scott Harrison and Brian Bowyer thanks for sharing your treasured car and truck with us. Thanks to Bobbie Sweeney and Mercedes Sanford for hair and make-up. Scorpios Deli, we love your retro deli and appreciate you allowing us to visit after hours! Last but not least thanks to Mad Hatter Vintage for the gorgeous luggage set and retro camera. I hope you enjoy these images and please come back and visit the blog again soon!
